NYCkayaker thanks to all who attended Sebago Open House

Sebago Canoe Club's Annual Open House in Canarsie on Saturday, May 24th was
a rollicking success, and many of you were there to enjoy it-thanks for
coming!  Final figures are not yet crunched, but over 100 people went on the
water, in kayaks, rowboats, sailboats and the war canoe.  Over 300 hot dogs
and hamburgers were consumed.  We had a TV crew and print media there to
document us in all our chaotic glory.  Kids made arts and crafts, the Coast
Guard inspected our boats for safety, and the gardens obliged with blossoms
and salad.

 

If you missed it, never fear:  our open paddle season is about to begin, and
we are also available to meet and greet you by appointment all around the
calendar.  It sure was fun to meet and greet so many of you at once though.
