NYCkayaker Fresh Kills Dump-to-Park Trip Report and kayak launch concern

Hi All,

I thought some of you might enjoy a trip report I posted about the tour I
joined of the Fresh Kills site:

The transformation from garbage dump to wildlife preserve, memorial, and
recreation area is fascinating.

One concern is that the kayak launch is poorly designed, in my opinion.
Also, no paddle and rowing visits are allowed right now, and we should lobby
for it.
