Hi All:
I recently went on a very interesting expedition with Bill Menke, his wife Dallas
Abbott, Bruce Aptowicz and Columbia Journalism Student Russ Juskalian to a patch of woods in the Pine Barrens (New Jersey) where all the trees had been mysteriously blown down. Dallas, recalling the similar damage at Tunguska in Siberia, which was caused by a small comet exploding in the atmosphere, was interested in examining the pattern of the fallen trees.
