NYCkayaker Save the Date: August 17, 2009

Parks would like the paddling community to join us in welcoming the 
Greenways Hudson River Sojourn group as they paddle the last leg of 
their journey.  Along the way they will be stopping at the 79th Street 
Boat Basin where Parks will have a brief press conference welcoming 
the group and discussing this excellent adventure. 

 

Afterwards, Commissioner Benepe will jump in a kayak and paddle the 
last mile of the journey. 

 

The boats will arrive at about 11:00am.
