Announcing the Second Annual Norwalk Islands Kayaker Jamboree. This will be the world biggest gathering of Kayakers to ever take place on the Norwalk Islands (unless you do not come). Kayakers from ConnYak, CT AMC, Sound Kayakers, the Hudson River Kayaking Meetup, the Wethersfield Kayaking Meetup, The Southington Sea Kayaking Meetup, The Tuesday Night Paddlers, and any other group are welcome to come and to invite friends.

The Jamboree will span the entire weekend. Some people will camp over night and some will paddle over just for the day. SKG will plan three paddle times, but you are wilcome to come over any day at any time. We encurage that you paddle in pods of three or more. Check the weather and tide, and always be aware of the boat traffic. Paddle safe.
Camp sites are reserved for Friday night and Saturday night. Any one can paddle over to the island and join the Jamboree. You must bring your own gear, supplies, and beverages. If you plan to paddle to the island on Friday night with the group then RSVP on this page. If you plan to join the group on Saturday then RSVP on the Saturday event page. If you are planning to paddle over in another group or at another timeyou do not need to RSVP, but you can post on the message board so we know you are coming.

Camp sites are reserved by SKG in advance. We are asking that participants make a $5 contribution to the SKG.
We are planning to do an Island Clean up on Sunday morning. We hope every one can join us for this. Please bring heave duty garbage bags and gloves.
