Congrats and kudos to all the Sebago folks. In case it isn't obvious, I believe that Erik was kidding and his left handed compliment was intended goodnaturedly..
Best wishes for a mild sunny day on the 19th

Come Celebrate the completion of our
* New Dock and Ramp *
on Sunday, April 19, 2009, 12 noon
at the Sebago Canoe Club
****************************************************
The new dock and ramp will be the showcase of the New York City Water Trails.
This dedication recognizes the completion of Phases One and Two of our multi-year Capital Improvement Program initiated to "Increase awareness and accessibility to an underdeveloped city amenity in Canarsie, Brooklyn."
Sebago has raised over $125,000 for improvement in Paerdegat Basin Park. No municipal or New York City Department of Parks and Recreation funds were used in these expenditures.
Phases One and Two feature:
* Reclaiming almost ½ acre of park land and the creation of a communal garden.
* Removal of 25,000 lbs of industrial debris.
* Installation of new fencing, a pedestrian gate and signage into the park.
* Construction of a 400’ recycled disabled friendly path from the street to our new dock waterside.
At the dedication you will hear about how you may join us in our future efforts to improve the infrastructure in the park including:
* Modern amenities.
* Community meeting space.
* Storage facility for recreational human powered boats.
Please RSVP by April 7, 2009
