NYCkayaker Tide Tables Long Island Sound iPhone Apps

I had been keeping my iphone in a small electronics dry bag on my deck.
Even without opening the bag while on the water or submerging, the
contacts on the dock connector corroded. I stopped bringing the phone
with me and the corrosion stopped appearing. I leak tested the bag and
there were no leaks.

I know Otter makes an iphone case that is supposed to be waterproof. I
haven't tried it but I think that's probably your best bet.

Sincerely,

They are detailed and interactive with tides and currents, ship wrecks, port info, distance calculation, etc., and function as a gps if you have the iPhone. It's really the easiest tide and current interface I've used. (I just have the cheapest iPod touch and it's totally worth it). -Kam
