Hi All,
Guinans on the HR just south of Cold Spring was a place you could land a kayak and get a sandwich, drink, use the rest rooms. In the fall they had a croak pot of chili and or soup. We also had several CSKC meetings there which could be reached by road, railroad and kayak. Ideal!
Ray you may want to add this to the Phillpstown Current.
Tom
PS. I would support the club in making a donation to help bring Guinans back.

Hi -- and thanks for subscribing to the list for updates on "Little Chapel
on the River." A pledge drive is on now to help keep the historic building
that once housed Guinan's Pub & Country Store from being converted into
office space. We have until this Thursday to reach our goal. We're getting
closer, but are not yet there.
Please pass this <a href="http://bit.ly/5PAlDI">informational link</a>
along if you will and make a pledge if you can.
Direct pledges can be made to: <a
href="mailto:LandingCommunity at gmail.com">LandingCommunity at gmail.com</a>.
More updates on the Guinan family, the pub and other the folks in the book
can be found at: <a

Thanks again for all your support. Best wishes for a happy and healthy
2010.
Wendy
