NYCkayaker Figment Festival mark your calendar pick up some trash

I'm doing a kayak based art project at the Figment Festival on June 12th 
and June 13.

I am looking for people to come and help tow the bodies around, and also 
to bring cool trash that you find in the harbor.

I'm including one of my signature gourmet lunches with fine wine and 
cheeses for anyone who helps either day.

Schedule: Saturday 6/12  and Sunday 6/13
Bodies in water: 12:00PM – 4:00PM
Sculpture all day

The exhibit is designed to raise awareness about trash in the sea with a 
disturbing and stimulating sight of floating bodies in the harbor along 
with an interactive sculpture component where the viewing public is 
encouraged to make or enhance sculptures out of beach trash that will be 
available.

The bodies and the sculptures will be constructed from actual trash that 
has been removed from the beaches and oceans of the world. Some of it 
will come from local waters, and some from Papua New Guinea in the South 
Pacific Ocean.

The bodies will be towed by kayaks for several hundred yards adjacent to 
the sculpture site and walkway on the Northeast side of the island.
