WINTER NAUTICAL FUN IN NY HARBOR

The Urban Divers Estuary Conservancy ENVIROMEDIA MOBILE in collaboration
with CHE Nautical & Enviro Edutainment
will host its:

Annual Black History Month Nautical Expedition 2013.

Presenting:
"Three Generations of African Heritage in Colonial America; The
Afro-American Seafarers Wake to America's Freedom"

A spectacular tactile living history museum with over a dozen artifacts and
interactive props, reenactor presentations, including the resurrection of
several Seafarers including sailor and statesman Robert Smalls, a
Marbleheader and more.

A special highlights of the exhibit features a collection of artifacts from
the American Revolution and Civil War era, found beneath our rivers and
oceans
over the course of 20 years of diving.

THIS VALENTINE WEEKEND- FRI FEB 15th( Schools only) , SAT FEB 16th-1pm-4pm
at the historic LANGSTON HUGHES LIBRARY & CULTURAL CENTER in QUEENS, NY.

and at CUNY BRONX COMMUNITY COLLEGE- Roscoe Hall, RM 211- THURS FEB 28th,
from 10 AM- also open to the General Public.
