Subject: Hawaiian Liberty Challenge, on water and land!

Come celebrate the Hawaiian Airlines Liberty Challenge on water and on

New York Outrigger is proud to have our race be the inaugural event for
Hudson River Park's Pier 26. We invite you to come in your human-powered
watercraft to cheer all of the crews at the start of each race at the north
end of Pier 26. Afterwards, you can take your boat out of the water and us
at the Liberty Festival where there will be food, Polynesian entertainment,
raffle prizes, Hawaii vacation giveaways and more.

The Women's Race launches at 7:00AM for a 7:30AM start.
The Men's Race launches at 10:30AM for a 11AM start.
The Mixed Race launches at 1:30PM for a 2PM start.

The attached PDF has a more detailed schedule.

All that we ask is that your watercraft can be taken in and out of the
water quickly and easily without assistance and moved back up to stow on
land as we cannot have any watercraft sitting on the floating dock
unsupervised. To help facilitate the need for a quick turnaround between
races, the floating dock will be for outrigger race use only during the
following times.
6:30AM - 7:45AM
9:15AM - 11:15AM
12:30PM - 2:15PM
You are free to dock and launch your craft anytime outside of these times.

The Liberty Festival closes at 5:00PM and we need to clear Pier 26 by 5:30PM

We really hope you can join us to cheer on the crews who have traveled so
far. Even if you can't join us at the pier, we encourage you to cheer them
on anywhere along the race course and show them that New Yorkers really
aren't as bad as people think we are.

We look forward to seeing you this Saturday.
